Piled Up

Well, with my limited amount of energy, I don't think I'm going to be able to continue with the North America Round Robin and it was the only one I hung on to after dropping out of all the others. I just don't have the "spoons" left for things I want to do. I will of course continue with the Official Postcrossing so I will at least have a few postcards, just not as many as before. Hopefully I will be able to rejoin the Round Robin after the first of the new year!

A really cool map card from Australia!

A funny card from Minnesota

A map of Holland

The wreck of a Cuban fishing boat in 1941, after a hurricane.

Beautiful early spring flowers in Belarus.

Pigeon Forge, Tennessee

A painting by Tangetsu. I love the old Japanese paintings. I wonder what the artists would think of manga and anime of today!

A juvenile and mature Bald Eagle.

Sculpted bear on the Cherokee Reservation in North Carolina.

Doubling Point Lighthouse in Maine

The city of Kampen in Holland

A great map of part of the South Carolina Lowcountry!

A Mississippi paddle boat

Colorful map of Washington

A beautiful Bluethroat from Holland

The Presidents from Virginia.

Here You Go

With more to look at!

From Hong Kong, the Chinese words on the card mean "In June the fiery days without rain, I hope you come here by rail." I think the picture in quite pretty!

From Lithuania, a local artist named Sigute Ach, and the art is entitled "The wings for the spring birds." So delicate and pretty!

A great map of Philadelphia - I've been there many times!

From Germany, the sender lives in a small village of only 230 inhabitants.

The sender from Russia noticed it would soon be my birthday (July 2) and sent me a postcard wishing me a Happy Birthday and happiness, health, love and all the best. That was very kind of her!

From Germany, the sender mentioned that she heard President Obama speak over there.

Nevada map card

From my favorites, sent from China, this is an illustration of the beginning of Winter. I really like it!

A small picture, surrounded by large areas of white, showing the colors of New Orleans.

Washington & Lee University, Lee Chapel, General Robert E. Lee's final resting place.

Here You Go!

The latest postcards for you to enjoy!

Another great one for my Beatles collection!

Port of Goderich in Ontario Canada.

The Kuala Lumpur Tower in Maylasia. The sender said that the elevator takes 54 seconds to reach the observation deck and 52 seconds to come down. Wonder how many people went up faster than their lunches!

Monticello, Virginia, home of Thomas Jefferson, and a UNESCO spot.

Another Edward Gorey card for my collection!

Cast iron stairway in the City Hall of Bay City, Michigan.

Lithograph of Northern Ireland.

The unfriendly wilderness around Mt. McKinley.

Magens Bay, but I'm not sure where....

The town of Gent in Belgium

And this one is my favorite! My friend in Arizona took this shot of the local quail feeding on a compressed birdseed block made specifically for them. I think it's just wonderful!
