And Some More!

I am so thankful, I have not had a severe migraine now in several days and I wish I could describe the difference it makes in my life! It makes the other symptoms of the ME easier to bear. Here are several more postcards, and I still have a stack of 25 more to scan and list! Also, it was nice to see that this blog does have readers and that they aren't upset because it's so sporadic - thanks!

Enjoy!!

From my friend in Tucson, he had to stop in the middle of the road since the sign is in the median. I'm so pleased he risked his life for me! :)

A hedgehog for Belarus.

From Russia, with the words saying that "happiness is the absence of self-preservation."

Sent from China, but the sender took this photo on the coast of France. She sends her photos to a travel magazine, and then gets to travel more!

Maryland State Card

A Christmas card from our acupuncturist, with needles in the shape of a tree. She is one of the reasons I am not struggling with a migraine right now!

A beautiful handmade care from my friend in Australia. She is so talented!

Cows from Holland

Arches in the Alexander Church in Marbach on the Neckar, Germany. Aren't they GORGEOUS??

A patrol boat in Amsterdam, sent from Belgium.

I love pictures of train engines, and this one is from Taiwan.

A very young U2 group photo, sent to me by a 9 year old in Holland.

Nice Selection

I received a nice selection in the past few days!

One of my favorites by Da Vinci, sent from Canada.

Jefferson Memorial in Washington DC

What a gorgeous fountain in Pittsburgh

My husband brought this back, among some other cards he got in St. Louis. I'm keeping this one! I did not know about the Civil War battles fought there!

From China, life of the Chengdu people.

Lincoln convertible used by FDR and Harry Truman while they were in the White House; from the Henry Ford Museum.

Florida panther in the Everglades National Park, a UNESCO site.

Penang is a UNESCO city.

A map outline from Lithuania, and the sender also sent coins from her country!

Looks like a nice day for a boat ride in St. Paul!

Another fun app from my friend in Arizona; the only problem is the picture isn't very large!

Beautiful architecture in Grace Cathedral in San Francisco.

German Lighthouse silhouette.

Large Bunch

Enjoy!

Lovely window from a Russian village.

Another great addition for my Edward Gorey collection.

City view of Detroit, Michigan.

Lublin Cathedral in Poland.

Sent from Hong Kong with a great Olympic stamp in the back!

An oversize oval card, with a picture of a Scottish breakfast; I can tell you from experience that the dark circle between the tomatoes is a fried slice of blood pudding. I am not sure what the brown food is on the bottom right, but I'm not sure I want to know! Sent from Holland.

Funny card from Florida!

Lennox Bridge between Sydney and the Blue Mountains in Australia, a UNESCO site; it's the oldest bridge on the  mainland.

One of my favorites to get - something related to the mail; it was sent from the US, so I don't know where this mailbox is.

A UNESCO site in Alberta Canada, one of the best places in the world to find dinosaur bones!

A US card sent from Holland - she had been here for her holiday.

Another wonderful Edward Gorey card!

An art card from Germany.

Bono, from U2. I really like U2 music, but this card looks a bit creepy. He sure was a lot younger in this picture!

The Khan's Palace in the Ukraine, built in the 16th century; a UNESCO site.

Lovely roses sent from the US.
