Fun Today

I received some great postcards yesterday and today!

The reverse of usual stacked signs - this one is from Charlotte NC, and it shows the distance to other cities named Charlotte. I can see 6 states, and Charlotte Waters in Austealia. Makes me wish I could see the other side!

A really nice world map card.

Old trestle going into Cloudcroft New Mexico over the Mexican Canyon. For years it was the only way into the small town, but there are other ways now and the trestle hasn't been used in years. I love things pertaining to railroads!

The Great Wall, I love getting pictures of it!

And I love getting pictures of old small boats!

Christmas greetings from Poland.

Fort Pulaski, Georgia, on Tybee Island.

And Some More!

I am so thankful, I have not had a severe migraine now in several days and I wish I could describe the difference it makes in my life! It makes the other symptoms of the ME easier to bear. Here are several more postcards, and I still have a stack of 25 more to scan and list! Also, it was nice to see that this blog does have readers and that they aren't upset because it's so sporadic - thanks!

Enjoy!!

From my friend in Tucson, he had to stop in the middle of the road since the sign is in the median. I'm so pleased he risked his life for me! :)

A hedgehog for Belarus.

From Russia, with the words saying that "happiness is the absence of self-preservation."

Sent from China, but the sender took this photo on the coast of France. She sends her photos to a travel magazine, and then gets to travel more!

Maryland State Card

A Christmas card from our acupuncturist, with needles in the shape of a tree. She is one of the reasons I am not struggling with a migraine right now!

A beautiful handmade care from my friend in Australia. She is so talented!

Cows from Holland

Arches in the Alexander Church in Marbach on the Neckar, Germany. Aren't they GORGEOUS??

A patrol boat in Amsterdam, sent from Belgium.

I love pictures of train engines, and this one is from Taiwan.

A very young U2 group photo, sent to me by a 9 year old in Holland.

This old photo card from France shows an enterprising young man trying to make a bicycle boat!

Dame Kate Campbell, a famous Pediatrician in Australia.

Lovely view of the Eiffel Tower, sent from Holland

Eleven Postcards today....

... not counting the ones for After Thanksgiving sales!

I would so love to be in that chair, on the shores of Malaysia!

A different take on a Map Card from France.

A painting done by French artist Theodore Gericault, called Le Radeau de la Meduse. The original hangs in the Louvre in Paris.

Yaquina Bay Bridge in Oregon

A cool train engine from Czestochowa, Poland!

Bauchaille Etive Mor, Glencoe, Scotland

Another great map card for my collection!

William Weekes painting, Cock of the Walk

The sender from Taiwan saw this card in my favorites list, and also included the wonderful bird stamps on the back. It's always special when someone goes the extra length to send you something you will like! That happens a lot in Postcrossing!

The South Carolina State Flag!

Joensuu, Finland - also know as the Forest Capital of Europe.
