The Rest

Didn't make it to get these on yesterday, but here they are now!

The cheerful art of Vitoria Kirdiy, from Russia.

Lovely view of Chicago, Illinois, US.

One of the places I most want to visit!

Asian string player, sent from the US

German lighthouse

Sunset view of Holland windmill.

Also from Holland, I think he's trying to remember what he tied the string on his finger to remind him.

Miss seeing pelicans up here where we live.

Holland shoreline

Love Inge Look's Grannies!

And another!

And finally, another favorite by Edward Gorey

Catch Up Time Again!

Sometimes I get frustrated with my small energy chunks of time, I just can't do all that I want to do!! But I am reminded that they will still be here waiting for me, so I am thankful to have these to show you. It's spring here now, everything is budding out and the birds are filling the air with all different sorts of music!

This has such fantastic colors! It's from Holland and I think it is gorgeous!

These Penguin Book cover postcards are popular now, but I am not a fan of them particularly.

What an interesting building to live in, in Barcelona Spain!

The sender works with people struggling with addictions, and this is from their painting therapy workshops. I think it is quite lovely!

The buildings of Litchfield, Connecticut

Beautiful Idaho scene!

Civil War battlefield in Virginia.

Krasnolurhsky Bridge in Moscow; in the upper left is the Novodevichy Monastery. The sender tells me that she likes to go for walks there, because it is very quiet, even in the midst of a noisy city.

Alphonse Mucha card; the sender said that there will be a large Mucha exhibition in Iowa soon.

Cavallini peacock postcard.

Lovely windmill in Holland - peaceful looking.

Sent from Canada, a picture of baby Canada Geese.

From Switzerland, an illustration of the Matterhorn.

An ethnic tribal village in north Vietnam; such colorful clothing!

More Favorites

What neat cards came in today!

Icon of St. George fighting the dragon, from Poland. It was on my favorites list to receive and the sender checked my list and sent it to me.

A 1873 Czech Republic windmill, with Halladay's wind turbine. It wasn't on my list but if I had seen a picture, it would have been! How unique!

From San Francisco, CA, a summertime shot of the Golden Gate Bridge, also on my favorites list!

Lovely cloisters in Poland.

This lighthouse! It's from Russia and called Lighthouse Aniva, in Sakhalin, Sea of Okhotsk. How romantic is this photograph! And it was also on my list of favorites!

Again from California, part of the Hearst castle.

What a lovely vignette! This old window was sent to me from Germany. Again, if I had seen it before now, it would have been on my list of favorites!
